This painting was inspired by what one of my favorite authors, Ulla-Lena Lundberg has written (freely translated): "How much bitterness, rudeness and pettyness would not be born if one could have a fellow feeling with all those who share the role of a human: the unclarity in understanding the purpose of living, the constant failure in attaining it, the dreams of finding happiness, dreadful cries in the dark." Genuinely seeing fellow people is grand enough for being the mission in life, something to strive for.
Dimensions: 100x100 cm
Media: Mixed media (acrylic and leaf gold) on canvas
