With combining vintage furniture and my art I aim to bring beauty, inspiration and enjoyment in our everyday life. I wish to highlight the ordinary everyday moments and make us appreciate them - to see them as a valuable piece in our chain of life.

I’m collecting vintage furniture and using them as a media to expand and deepen the story and impact of each painting. The painting on the canvas and on the furniture is born at the same time either extending the story or adding something new to it.

The furniture is from the 40’s to 60’s representing the style that naturally connects with my artistic expression. For showing respect to the nature I only use recycled furniture. By giving a piece of furniture a new life with the touch of art is fascinating. All furniture is painted with sertified furniture paint and therefore usable in everyday life.

Light Ascending

The table is 50’s vintage by Häkli est. 1925. At 50’s Häkli was the second largest furniture producer in Finland. The table is painted with furniture certified Frenchic chalk paint. The ornament is made of gold leaf.
